The collaboration is expected to strengthen the educational institute, with their students getting a hands-on interaction and a chance to work on the field along with providing the implementing agencies about the insights into latest developments in the water sector.

Executive Director, Jalanidhi, mentioned as to how association with a reputed specialized educational institute will aid the department in taking informed decisions foster evidence-based decision making in the department.

An educational institution like the Water Institute of SCMS College with its dedicated team of faculty and students can come up with out of box ideas which have a role in energizing and revitalizing the department.

KRWSA, Jalanidhi has developed and spread home grown Olavanna model - community designed, community made, community owned, community operated and maintained water supply schemes.

KRWSA is looking forward towards deepening its relationship with the Institute especially in domains of trainings for DPR preparation, development of Communication Plan for Jal Jeevan Mission, Water Quality Monitoring to name a few in the coming days.
